TLC485 converts RS-232 into RS-485 signals. All are port powered and feature automaticsend data control. SDC automatically enables the RS-485 driver when data ispresent on the RS-232 side. Control of the driver is automatic at rates up to 15.2kbps. It is used widely in the field of electricity, industrial automatic controland IC card billing system.
